A pretty special location and a pretty special Family - The Grabills! | Oro Valley Tucson Tohono Chul Extended Family Photographer

I was so excited when I received a call about booking this session!  I just LOVE seeing the bond between generations and thought it was so special to get to photograph this family while grandma and grandpa were visiting!  

I have heard so many wonderful things about this amazing family through a mutual friend and was so excited to meet them!  

The family decided on Tohono Chul Park as their location of choice!  This park was one of their most favorite places to go on family outings when their children were younger.  I loved hearing them tell their children stories of when they would visit this park and eat at the Tea Room.  This was my first time at this location and I fell in LOVE!  Gorgeous courtyard, breezeways, stairwells, funky blue doors, spanish tile...a photographers DREAM!  

Isn't this family of 5 just so adorable?! (oops...I meant 6!  (they now have a new fur baby! ;-) )

The Saab Fam - I can still hear these two giggling | Oro Valley Tucson Arizona Family Child Photographer

WOW!  Sunday was my lucky day!  I got to spend the morning with a tiny and adorable little newborn and the evening with this super fun family!

Meet the Saab Family!

I met Alyssa a little over a year ago at a playdate through my Oro Valley playgroup!  We had an instant  conversation starter because she is a HOKIE!  Small world, right?!  With busy schedules, we hadn't seen eachother in a while until we ran into eachother at Trader Joe's right before preschool registration! She was AMAZINGLY helpful in letting me know the secrets of getting into St. Andrew's!  We even coordinated our kids to be in the same class!  She is such a sweet mom and friend and I LOVE getting to see her and her vivacious little girls every week!  I was THRILLED when she asked me to take their family photos and knew it was going to be so much fun!

Grandma and Grandpa joined too!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE when grandparents join us!  

We met at one of both of our favorite locations and I started snapping right away!

These spunky, giggly, and adorable little girls made it TOO easy!

We talked princesses, purple, danced, did yoga poses, sang...

They literally laughed the WHOLE time (and me too!)!

And while I have lots and lots going to mom on her DVD tomorrow of everyone looking at the camera...

I got to photograph Baby Britton at just 10 days new!  

I LOVED getting to capture the excitement and LOVE this little family has for their newest addition!  

For this session we did a combination of posed and lifestyle shots at their home!  

These spunky and sweet older brothers were so much fun!
